A refrigerant recharge isn't just hooking up a gauge and adding freon. Before we touch the refrigerant, we go through the whole system - outdoor unit, indoor air handler, wiring, filters, and the equipment data. That's the only way to know what's actually going on.

The condenser coils on the outdoor unit take a beating over time. Dust, debris, and buildup restrict airflow and force the system to work harder than it should. When airflow is restricted, even a freshly recharged system won't perform the way it's supposed to. That's why coil condition is one of the first things we check.

Inside the air handler, we're looking at the wiring and blower components closely. Worn or heat-damaged wiring is a real issue - it's not just a performance problem, it's a safety concern. We check those connections carefully before signing off on anything.

We also pull the equipment data label. Voltage, BTU rating, blower specs, temperature rise range - that information tells us exactly what the system is designed to do and helps us confirm it's actually operating within those specs. Skipping that step is how things get missed.

Routine HVAC maintenance like this is what catches small problems before they turn into expensive ones. Whether it's a refrigerant recharge, a furnace maintenance check, or something more involved, we cover the full picture. We serve Memphis and the surrounding areas including Cordova, Germantown, Bartlett, and Olive Branch.
